The musical anime Rhapsody that premiered at Ikebukuro’s harevutai in July will begin airing in Japan on November 20. The streaming version will have a four-episode format.
Rhapsody was originally shown as an anime series as part of Live Anime “Rhapsody,” which included live performances in addition to scenes from the anime. It is also part of the larger project “innovative rock anime” Rhapsody created and overseen by music critic Youichi Shibuya and Rockin’On Group (which Shibuya is the president of), with original character designs by the manga artist Yuuki Kodama (ID:INVAADED) and character design by Kawai Momoko (Sabikui Bisco co-lead animator).
