1. Pokémon Red/Blue/Green (Generations I)
This is the first release of the Pokémon series, launching on the Game Boy. With a simple, attractive gameplay system and creativity in designing Pokémon and the Pokémon world, this version has created a global fever since its launch in 1996.
2. Pokémon Gold/Silver/Crystal (Generations II)
Is the next version of the Pokémon game series, released on Game Boy Color. It expanded the Pokémon world, introduced new Pokémon types, and featured a real-time system in the game. This is considered one of the versions with the most content and variety.
3. Pokémon Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald (Generations III)
Launching on the Game Boy Advance, this release introduced a whole new world of Pokémon with new areas, Pokémon, and features. At the same time, it also introduces a two-sided system in the match.
4. Pokémon Diamond/Pearl/Platinum (Generations IV)
Released on the Nintendo DS, this version expanded the world of Pokémon with online gameplay features, improved graphics, and the addition of many new Pokémon.
5. Pokémon X/Y (Generations VI)
The first on the Nintendo 3DS, X and Y took the world of Pokémon into a whole new depth with 3D graphics and new features like Mega Evolution and improvements in online play.
6. Pokémon Black/White (Generations V)
Launching on the Nintendo DS, Black and White brings a whole new world of Pokémon with 156 new Pokémon species introduced, along with a rich story and difficult gameplay.
7. Pokémon Sun/Moon (Generations VII)
The first release on the Nintendo 3DS, Sun and Moon takes players to the new region of Alola, with new features such as Alola Forms and Z-Moves. The game also features a deeper feature film story than previous versions.
8. Pokémon Sword/Shield (Generations VIII)
Launching on the Nintendo Switch, Sword and Shield is a new version of the Pokémon game series. With nice 3D graphics and the vast open world of the Galar region, this game introduced many new features such as Dynamaxing and Wild Area, along with the introduction of new Pokémon.
