Horikoshi's creative depiction of superpowers includes everything from standard abilities like super strength and flight, to weird ones like someone's body creating sticky purple balls, or a bright beam of light coming from their navel. Regardless of the superpower, those who master their abilities and hone their fighting skills will rise to the top of the Pro Hero or Villain community.
In My Hero Academia, most humans have superpowers called Quirks, but the story's protagonist, Izuku Midoriya, does not. That all changes when his hero idol, All Might, passes on his Quirk “One For All” to the boy and enrolls him in a hero school.
Midoriya is caught up in an all-out war between Heroes and Villains, encountering some of the most powerful attacks imaginable on the journey to become the new #1 Hero.
10 Himiko Toga – Transformation
Season 5, Episode #21
Himiko Toga is a A teenage girl with the ability to copy the appearance, voice, and sometimes even Quirk of others.simply by tasting their blood. Her clones are virtually indistinguishable from the originals, allowing Himiko to get within striking range without raising suspicion. While this young villain's powers might seem best suited to stealthy espionage, Himiko's quirky perspective and sadistic tendencies allow her to use her cloned Quirks in creative new ways.
In episode #21 of the fifth season of MHA, Himiko is brutally attacked by a rival villain group, the Meta Liberation Army. As a last resort, Himiko drinks the blood of Ochaco Uraraka, transforming into her and turning the tide of battle using Ochaco's gravity-manipulating powers. Normally, Uraraka calmly uses her powers passively on the battlefield, but in Himiko's hands, “Zero Gravity” becomes a deadly weapon. 9 Lemillion – Absorb
Season 4, Episode #12
Mirio Togata, also known as Lemillion, is a student in class 3-B of UA High School who has the ability to speak fluently. His Quirk “Permeation” allows him to pass through solid matter.making him elusive on the battlefield. While it is difficult to hit Lemillion, his Quirk is not without its limitations: Lemillion cannot breathe while his “Permeation” is active, and must keep at least part of his body solid or he will fall through the Earth.
Fortunately, Lemillion thrives when constrained, such as when he fought three Villains at once in season 4, episode #12, “Lemillion.” After rescuing a young girl, Mirio fights off her three kidnappers.: Deidoro, whose Quirk affects Lemillion's balance, Chronostasis, who controls time, and Overhaul, who can control all forms of matter. Only Lemillion can juggle that lineup, and even with his Quirk nullified, he still fights them off in hand-to-hand combat.
8 Endeavor – Burn the spotlight
Season 4, Episode #25
Second only to All Might in the Hero community, Endeavor has complete mastery over flames, thanks to his Quirk, “Hellflame”. His reputation has earned him the respect and admiration of the public, although his son, Class 1-A student Shoto Todoroki, and his siblings have a strained relationship with their father. Due to his powerful abilities and stern personality, Endeavor has the highest number of closed cases in the history of Pro Heroes.
Endeavor's flames create some of the most stunning attacks in the series, as seen in episode #25, “Vestiges,” when he and Hood, who has the ability to regenerate any damage he takes, battle in the city's skies. Endeavor's usual ferocious attacks brutalize Hood, but fail to completely destroy him, forcing him to use his ultimate, “Prominence Burn.” Concentrating his flames into a single, concentrated beam of heat, Endeavor completely evaporates Hoodbeyond its regenerative capacity.
7 Mirko – Moon Ring
Season 6, Episode #2
Mirko is a fearsome warrior who possesses all the qualities of a rabbit, including unbelievable speed, enhanced senses and super strong legs. As powerful as her Quirk is, Mirko's iron will and determination are even stronger, and she won't let anything stop her on the battlefield. Although Hero No. 5 isn't introduced until much later in the series, her brilliant debut is worth the wait.
In episode #2 of the sixth season, “Mirko, Hero No. 5,” Mirko chases after Dr. Garaki, the creator of the Nomu, modified human bodies created for the purpose of using multiple Quirks. During the chase, she is mercilessly attacked by High-End Nomu, but Mirko uses her helicopter kick, Luna Ring, to dispel them. The battle was so fierce that Mirko lost many limbs.But that didn't stop her from winning, as she used her hair to bind her wound and continued fighting.
6 Twice – Sad Man Parade
Season 5, Episode #22
Twice is a villain with the ability to create copies of anything.living or unconscious, including himself. His insane personality and unpredictable nature isolated him from the rest of society and led him into the criminal underworld. There, he found Himiko, whose similarly complex mental health made him feel understood, and solidified his descent into crime.
When Himiko is severely injured during the battle between the League of Villains and the Meta Liberation Army, Twice silenced their inner conflict and overcame the fear of breaking their psyche. Twice continues by creating multiple copies of himself. Unlocking his ultimate attack, “Sad Man’s Parade,” Twice and his clones use their Quirks to multiply exponentially, creating an army of their own to fight against the MLA. What follows is a stunning display of crushing power as the clones multiply out of control and engulf their enemies.
5 Muscles – Muscle Strengthening
Season 3, Episode #5
Muscular is a villain with immense physical strength, endurance, and physique. His Quirk, “Muscle Augmentation”, allows him to amplify and manipulate his muscle layers, increasing his strength and mass to the point where his skin no longer covers his body. Muscle is an extremely dangerous opponent.and confronts Deku many times, which always pushes the young Hero's power to new heights.
As the main antagonist of Forest Training Camp, Muscular and his fellow Vanguard Action Squad members ambush the students of UA High School during a training session. While the rest of the Squad terrorizes their classmates, Deku confronts Muscular on top of a mountain near the forest. Their clash is a display of Muscular's near-limitless power.This can only be prevented by a radical evolution in Deku's mastery of “One for All”.
4 Shigaraki – Decline
Season 6, Episode #15
Shigaraki is a despicable man, capable of limitless cruelty, which makes him an incredible Villain. With his Quirk “Decay” which allows him to disintegrate anything he touches, Fighting Shigaraki requires extreme caution.precise movements and strategic thinking. Eventually, Shigaraki gains “All for One”, the opposite of Deku’s ability, and becomes one of the world’s most dangerous Villains, leading multiple supervillain groups.
When Shigaraki attacks Tartarus prison to free the villain All for One, He uses his power to destroy everything from gates to watchtowers.. The attack on the prison frees dangerous Villains such as Muscular and Lady Nagant, who easily defeat the responding guards. Shigaraki frees All for One and hijacks a plane, allowing them to escape, then sends High-End Nomus to attack the other seven prisons and free their prisoners.
3 Stars & Stripes – Earth Slam
Season 7, Episode #1
Star and Stripe is the #1 Pro Hero in the USAand a former student of All Might. Her Quirk, “New Order”, allows her to set rules for her surroundings by touching someone or something and calling their name. Her strategy is to set one constant rule for herself, giving her superhuman strength and speed, then she customizes the remaining rule to suit the task at hand.
With the limitless potential of the Quirks Star can use, she is a formidable opponent for the likes of Shigaraki. During their battle in the first two episodes of the seventh season, Star uses her Ultimate Move, Fist Bump to the Earth, redirecting the surrounding air into a giant golem that she can attack Shigaraki with without touching him. Calling on her Air Force friends to assist her, Star and Stripe redirect their lasers and missiles into weapons for her giant clone. in a last ditch effort to defeat Shigaraki.
2 Deku – One for All: Full Hood
Season 4, Episode #13
Izuku Midoriya, also known by his professional name Deku, inherited the “One for All” Quirk from his mentor, All Might. This hereditary Quirk allows him to store raw energy to increase his strength, speed, and durability. Midoriya can unleash devastating attacks by focusing that stored energy into a single area of his body.but at the risk of injury, which could decide the outcome of the duel with the Villain.
In season four, episode #13, “Infinite 100%,” Deku rescues Eri from her kidnappers, but Overhaul won’t let her go without a fight. With the young girl on his back, Deku is protected by her ability, which nullifies the damage One for All does to its user. In a dizzying display of acrobatics and crackling green energy, Midoriya is finally able to use 100% of his Quirk power, and defeat Overhaul with One for All: Full Cowl.
1 All Might – USA of Smash
Season 3, Episode #11
All Might has been the number 1 Hero in Japan for 40 years despite being born without a Quirk, achieving this hero status through the same Quirk inherited from Izuku Midoriya, “One for All”. As a Pro Hero, All Might has inspired the world with countless acts of selflessness, strength, and courage. Decades of using his Quirk have exhausted All Might to the point of no return, leaving him only able to use “One for All” for a few hours and forcing him to find a successor in Deku.
In episode #13 of season 3, “One for All”, All Might and his strongest enemy, All for One, finally meet on the battlefield. This is one of the most anticipated matches of the seriess, and the result did not disappoint. All Might focused his remaining energy into his right fist and unleashed a powerful punch dubbed the “United States of Smash,” deciding the battle in his favor.
