And while this arc may not reach the storytelling heights of the Goku Black Saga, It offers the best visuals and action sequences that Dragon Ball Super can offer..
In addition to all the fighting, strong scenarios are also present in the Tournament of Power. Many of the battles and team combinations often call back to iconic moments throughout Dragon Ball, or serve to neatly complete certain character arcs.
Even through the emotional moments or stopping to look back at how far the Z-Fighters have come, the Tournament of Power truly offers a little bit of everything.Even though Android #17 ultimately won the contest, there were still moments that offered small victories for all the fighters.

Goku and Vegeta were actually able to take Jiren by surprise with their dual attacks, as the two were so out of sync with each other that their attacks were unpredictable. Although they share the role as main characters in Dragon Ball Super, it is rare for Goku and Vegeta to actually team up together.made the moment a relief, although it ultimately did nothing to help their chances of winning.
9 Vegeta Nods To The Buu Saga With Another Final Blast

The most touching moment of Dragon Ball Z is when Vegeta sacrifices himself to defeat Majin Buu. The Saiyan prince quietly says goodbye to his family and Goku before blowing himself up with a deadly attack. Of course, like everyone else in the series, he was resurrected, but the moment still carries weight in completing Vegeta's character arc.
When fighting Universe 11's Toppo, Vegeta was back to his old tricks, using the same move to eliminate his opponent. Thanks to all his training and his greatly increased strength since Majin Buu, Vegeta was able to withstand his own move and survive the ordeal. Though lacking the emotion that defined its previous usage, Vegeta's second Final Explosion is a wonderful reminder of that moment.at the same time showing how much the prince has grown up.

It's always fun to see two rivals team up in Dragon Balland Goku and Hit proved themselves to be a powerful pair when they eliminated one of the Pride Troopers. Unfortunately, Hit was eliminated before he had a chance to fight again.
